Crossroads of Ideas

  • A monthly series addressing social science topics like politics, policy, ethics, public perceptions, law and science and society.

SoundWaves

  • Live classical music performances with scientific discussions.
  • Topics are discussed first from the scientific angle, then through the lens of music.

Force for Positive Change

  • An event celebrating organizations making a social impact in Wisconsin with innovative solutions.
  • Features talks on social innovation and entrepreneurship.

Wisconsin Science Festival

  • An annual statewide event series that showcases the wonders of scientific innovation and the arts through interactive exhibits with leading researchers and creative thinkers.

Get Involved

Beyond these programs and events, there are plenty of ways that you can get involved with WARF including WARF Ambassadors. A program for graduate students and postdocs, WARF Ambassadors provides opportunities to learn more about patenting, invention licensing, tech transfer and other fields. Or, consider volunteering at the Discovery Building. The Discovery volunteer program welcomes people from all backgrounds to share their love of curiosity, creativity and service with others.
