Industry-sponsored research at UW-Madison can be initiated through the UW’s Office for Business Engagement. A research agreement between the university and your company will establish the terms and scope of the project.
You may also make a gift to the university to advance research. These funds are unrestricted, meaning they are not directed toward any specific research and don’t give your company any rights to future intellectual property.
